Puzzle Animal Mania is a simple 25-stage spatial puzzle game where players must drag animal squares into a grid to fill the grid entirely without overlapping any squares. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the word PLAY on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Initially only the first level is unlocked.
- Each time you beat a level you unlock the next level.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Set your mouse cursor over a piece & use the left click button to drag it into position on the puzzle. Repeat the process until all pieces are played into the puzzle and the level is complete.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to select pieces and drag them into position.
      - Controls & indicators
        In the upper left corner there is a sound control button and a button to proceed to the next level after beating the current level.
        In the top center the current level number is shown.
        In the upper right corner there are buttons to return to the game’s welcome screen and to restart the current level.
        The level select screen shows which stages you have unlocked.
        Game Play
        Basics
        Every animal square must be moved into the grid at the top of the screen.
        Each square in the grid can only have one animal square inside it.
        When all pieces are played correctly the puzzle is filled.
        Starting strategy
        Typically the largest pieces are the most limiting in where they can be played, so it often makes sense to start off with the larger pieces and then work your way around them.
        This game is not timed & does not have a movement limit, so if you do not know where to start you can drag any piece into the puzzle & build around it, repeatedly adjusting as you progress as you figure out where certain pieces must be played.
        Difficulty
        The early stages of this game are easy, but as you progress the difficulty level ramps up.
        What makes this game harder than it looks is every square with a particular animal type is connected to all other squares displaying that animal type, even if they have a gap between them – e.g. all snake squares move as a set.
        This means certain gap pieces only have a limited number of ways (or even one way) in which they can be played.
        In the screenshots below we show the solutions to the final 5 stages.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple spatial logic puzzle games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
