Play Bunnicula Harmonica Hopper online for free. Harmonica Hopper is a vegetable collecting game where you help Bunnicula eat as many vegetables as he can while avoiding dangerous snakes. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Click on the green PLAY button on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
- Clicking the PLAY button will show a brief cut scene then start the game.
- The welcome screen also contains a HOW TO PLAY button which offers a brief tutorial.

  - Desktop
    - Use the left click button on your mouse and swipe to drag Bunnicula across tiles.
    - You can do short click and drag to move a tile at a time, or longer holds to move as far as you like on that move.
      - Off the start you can get by with moving a square at a time, though as the game grows more complex with more snakes coming you have to be comfortable with the multi-square movement.
      - You must release the mouse and then click it again if you intend to change directions. If you go up you are not able to go left, right or down until after you release the left click button on your mouse.
      - Mobile
        Swipe your finger across the screen to move Bunnicula.
        This game does not have a pause button.
        Game Strategy
        Avoiding Snakes
        If you see the row or column you are standing on turn red quickly change the row or column as a snake will soon be coming.
        This game is a single-hit death, so the first priority should be avoiding getting hit.
        The board is organized in a 6 by 5 grid and initially only one snake comes at a time. As you progress the game sends 2 snakes, then 3, then 4.
        Each row only sends one snake (or at least this held true to well beyond 100 points), so after a snake comes you can follow it to grab vegetables.
        If you go quickly enough you can race the snake and move out (particularly if the vegetable is in the center of the screen) though doing so can lead to many mistakes as bad vegetables can appear along your path & rushed decisions often lead to mistakes.
        Power Ups
        Coins appear periodically in the game, though they disappear quickly.
        If you collect a coin it provides a protective bubble around Bunnicula, which allows you to get hit once by a snake without dying. (It is a bit like a mushroom in Super Mario Bros.)
        If you are wrapped in the protective bubble no more coins will appear again until some time after you get hit.
        When you get hit and were in a protective bubble you remain invincible for a couple seconds.
        Collecting Vegetables
        Try to collect the vegetables which have a blue outline while avoiding vegetables with a red outline.
        The vegetables outlined in blue score a point.
        The vegetables outlined in red take a point away.
        If a snake is in your way and the vegetable is diagonal to you then move along the path you can walk so that when the snake passes you only have to move a single square to get it.
        Difficulty
        The game starts off exceptionally easy.
        Difficulty increases as you score points through the combination of:
        more snakes coming at once
        vegetables lasting for a shorter duration of time
        a greater share of vegetables being the bad ones which count against you
        That said, the game is super easy.
        Target Audience
        This is a simple game fun for Bunnicula fans of all ages. Almost everyone should enjoy a couple plays.
        Younger kids will likely enjoy this game for an extended period of time.
        Older kids and adults may get bored as once you score around 100 points it starts to get a bit repetitive and the game is not particularly challenging for adults.
        There are no adult themes in this game.
