Play Futoshiki online for free. Futoshiki is a number filling logic puzzle game akin to Sudoku but with a twist. Fill up the empty squares of the grid with the numbers 1 to 5 without repeating any numbers in a row or column. Use both numbers and inequality signs next to the cells to determine their possible value. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Left click or tap anywhere to load the welcome screen.
On the welcome screen, select the play button below the title of the screen to begin.
Choose one of 3 difficulty levels.
On the upper right corner are 3 buttons:
- The gear button lets you customize the game’s audio and aesthetic settings.
- The information button opens the tutorial slideshow.
- The about button shows the game’s developer credits.

        Settings and customization
        You can change the aesthetics and sound preferences in this game.
        Choose between 2 different aesthetic settings
        Paper
        Chalkboard
        Toggle the game’s audio by selecting the sound and music buttons.
        You can change the game’s settings in the welcome screen or via the pause button in-game.
        Interface
        Top row
        At the top center is the timer. Your final score will be based in part on how fast you finished the puzzle.
        On the top right are two buttons:
        The information button
        The pause button
        The grid is a 5 x 5 playing field that occupies much of the screen.
        Below it are the input buttons. These allow you to add the numbers 1 to 5 or clear them from the screen.
        Basic rules
        Goals
        Fill all the cells with numbers from 1 to 5
        Each number must only appear once in every row or columns.
        Inequality signs are found between some cells. The values of each cell must obey the inequality signs.
        For instance, if two spaces have the less than sign between them (>), the valid number to the left must be bigger than the one on the right.
        e.g. 5 > 3
        If the number appears as a duplicate, it will appear as red.
        Number placement
        Select a space to fill it in.
        Use the input buttons at the bottom to add a number or clear a space.
        Notes mode.
        Select a space twice to activate notes mode.
        Notes mode allows you to fill up a space with up to 5 numbers. These will help you keep track of the

        Difficulty levels determine the number of markers and numbers already placed to act as hints for the puzzle.
        The game has 3 difficulty levels in total.
