How to Play

Play Neon Maze Control online for free. Neon Maze Control is a rotating physics maze puzzle game where players must turn the maze left or right to guide the ball to the exit while dodging obstacles. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Click or tap the play arrow button in the middle of the screen to begin the game.
    • This opens the level selection menu. Click or tap level 1 to start the game.
    • The game automatically stores your level progress in your local web browser.
    • You can select levels that you’ve unlocked previously, or play the latest level to continue your progress.
    • Game Controls
      • General Controls
      • Rotate the maze left or right to roll the ball in the right direction as needed. Rotating the maze allows you to control the center of gravity to navigate the ball toward the exit.
        • On the upper right corner of the screen is the Settings button. It’s a circle with three lines.
        • When you select the Settings button, it collapses into other buttons that take you to the opening home screen (house button) and the levels menu (four squares button).
        • It also include the reset button (round arrow button). I you want to restart a game, just press it to restart the level you are playing.
        • Touchscreen
          • To rotate the maze, press the red or blue arrow buttons on the bottom of the screen. These button are located beside opposite the center navigation key.
          • The game has a center navigation key under the maze. You can also control the rotation by pressing on the left or right tip of the center navigation key. However, this takes precision and sensitivity, and can be unstable. It’s much easier to use the red and blue arrows to rotate the maze.
          • Mouse and Keyboard
            • You can press the red and blue arrow keys on the screen to control the maze’s rotation.
            • The center navigation key can also be used. But as previously mentioned, it is not as stable or responsive. It’s better to use the red or blue arrow keys to rotate the maze left or right.
              • On keyboard, you can also use the directional right and left arrow keys to rotate the maze. Use this is you’re more comfortable rotating the puzzle maze via keyboard.
              • Strategy
                • Practice sensitivity when rotating the maze. Rotating too much in one direction will make the ball roll over a hole. Too little and the ball will not roll enough to reach the hole to the next passage way.
                • The game does not have any time limits, so you can take your time figuring out how to move through obstacles.
                  • The game starts off easy in the first couple of levels. But by level 6, it begins to get harder with obstacles such as shuriken blades or saws planted in certain parts of the maze.
                  • The obstacles vary and get more challenging as you progress through the game every 5 levels.
                  • Slow Movements and Timing
                    • Time your rotation to avoid the obstacles. This game practices precise hand-eye coordination so you can get your ball through the blades.
                    • A good tip is to move slow and steady. Moving too fast can lead you directly to blade traps. But if you’re slow, you can break the ball from rolling directly into destruction.
                    • Most of the time, when there are obstacles, you just need to tilt the maze a little so the ball rolls in the right direction without getting destroyed.
                    • In other cases, if you roll into a bad position, you really need to restart the game. Otherwise your ball will be destroyed by the obstacles if you proceed in the wrong position.
                    • If you die, you can always restart the level. Just tap the Settings button on the upper right corner of the screen. Then, tap the round arrow button and the level will automatically restart.
