                                  • Objective
                                    • Capture all of your opponent’s pieces on the board.
                                    • Movement
                                      • In most cases, you can only move one space forward diagonally.
                                      • You can move 2 or more spaces if and only if you are capturing pieces.
                                        • If you can make a move which captures a piece you must make that move.
                                        • King pieces can move forward and backward.
                                          • To make a piece a king, it must reach the other side of the board.
                                          • You can have as many kings as you can.
                                          • The game helpfully highlights the pieces you must move to
                                          • Captures
                                            • There must be an empty space between you and the piece you intend to capture.
                                            • A piece in front of another piece cannot be captured.
                                            • In certain situations, you can capture more than 2 pieces at once, by landing after the first piece and continuing your turn again.
                                            • Tips
                                              • Go on the offensive.
                                                • It is a common beginner’s mistake to put your pieces as close to the edge as possible.
                                                  • Although it keeps your opponent from capturing your pieces early on, it also puts you at a marked disadvantage by limiting your ability to make moves later in the game.
                                                  • A defensive play keeps you from capturing your opponents pieces or forces you to rely on forced moves, which often work against you.
                                                  • Offensive plays turn the tide in your favor by overwhelming your opponent and reducing the number of pieces they have.
                                                    • Control the center of the board early.
                                                    • Don’t hesitate to sacrifice pieces when needed.
                                                    • Move all your pieces out of your home row early in the game.
                                                      • By moving most of your pieces to the front, you create plenty of situations where they are well defended.
                                                      • Moving your pieces early increases the chance of one of your pieces becoming a king.
                                                      • Watch out for forced moves.
                                                        • Forced moves are moves you must take. This is usually a capture.
                                                        • Often, a forced move would put you in a disadvantage within the opponent’s turn.
                                                          • e.g. when you take one piece, it opens up the opponent to take that piece (or two, or three).
                                                          • Have at least one of your pieces made king immediately.
                                                            • Kings have a movement advantage over regular pieces.
                                                            • Having more kings can help you capture more pieces from more directions.
                                                            • Target Audience
                                                              • The game is suited for players who like to play checkers games.
                                                              • The game has no adult themed content.
